Does my indecisiveness unsettle you?

The consequence of not being able to satisfy your idea of who you assume I am. To fulfil the blank space between the outline of what you define me to be.

I feel a hiccup each time I slip and face someone new, a question of how much do they deserve to know? How much is enough to make you uncomfortable in your impressions.

 

A two sided surface that when flipped reveals layers cushioned with pride and poppy seeds, harvested since you learnt to suppress, adjust or accommodate within the different circles you encounter.

 

How could you ever consider placing your negative thoughts or challenging positions upon me?

 

A contradicting concept which agitates our needs of expression and outburst when hurt or in need of reassurance.

The love and acceptance we find within ourselves is a reflection of our interaction with what surrounds and disturbs our sense of peace. Only when you discover that you do not have to suffer alone can you then embrace all sides of your soul.

 

Empowerment and pride is strength, but empowerment and reflexivity is regal.
